About Drew Warner

Drew is a multi-award-winning graphic and book designer, producer, and food photographer, as well as an architectural and industrial designer.

He is currently producing and directing Joie's upcoming PBS cooking special and television series.

Drew's diverse projects have also included residential and furniture design and rail cars for mass-transit systems in New York, Toronto and Mexico.

Since the mid '80s, Drew and Joie have worked together creating, producing, writing, designing and providing food photography for
cookbooks for major book publishers, including William Morrow and Company/Hearst Books, Chronicle Books, Penguin Books, Random House, Prentice-Hall, and Little, Brown and Company, (including special-edition corporate cookbooks for companies such as Braun and Procter and Gamble), which have garnered critical acclaim and awards of excellence for design and production.

Drew studied transportation and advertising design at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. His automotive design projects include concept cars for Ford, Chrysler, and an all-new design for a new-generation of the classic British roadster -- the Austin Healey.

For many years, Drew was an automotive illustrator on advertising campaigns for major car manufacturers such as Chrysler, Toyota, Ford, and General Motors.

Drew is also an accomplished artist who has had one-man shows of his automotive oil paintings and works on paper.

Drew lives with Joie and their dog Cookie at their home (which he also designed), in East Hampton, New York.
